Oh my god you shaved your head too. I have pictured you as a short long-haired person since I started following you and it's like you just became a long short-hair person before me. I'm too high to handle this
(actually I still have long hair it's just that half of it's buzzed off and I keep it in a pony tail usually because ew summer :3)

Lovemme Corazón's debut book, Trauma Queen, is a memoir documenting the struggles of being a child survivor of rape and abuse. Through the use of multi-genre writing (poems, prose, story-telling, etc), this book is a collection of years of journal/diary entries. Lovemme is unapologetically facing the taboo truths of what it means to be a survivor and how that trauma shapes their life.
ISBN: 978-0-9919008-3-1
We'll update you on the availability of the print version when it becomes available! ↩
I'm going to be buying the print one for sure.
As everyone knows, I don't usually do reblogs of anything.
But this book is a worthy reason to break that clause.
Once the print version comes out, I will be purchasing a copy myself- because there is nothing more important to me than supporting other survivors.
i want as many of you as possible to get this book.
FYI.

girljanitor: surfacage: do you ever have that...

do you ever have that feeling….
technology makes everything imaginary, my friend
Also relevant:
A reminder that you really shouldn't trust trust TWoC murder statistics to give you an idea of transphobic/transmisogynist violence
Since those are actually pretty impossible to track unless they've been identified as trans in the media and police and stuff.
And that you shouldn't need the numbers to trust that girls like us face a lot of violence and murder.
Once more, with feeling:
Some women have Y chromosomes and/or penises
Some men have X chromosomes and/or vaginas.
And some people, regardless of chromosomes or genitals, are neither men nor women.
So when you use chromosomes or genitals as a cutesy way to refer to a particular gender, you are being hurtful and perpetuating a harmful idea.
Please stop.
Thank you.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who hates Daenerys Targaryen
Because I feel like a lot of readers/viewers (usually white) focus on the "strong female character" way that she is portrayed in the narrative as opposed white-savior predictable fantasy character that she actually is.
truth bombs.

reminder that not all hate between girls is </3girl hate</3 and while yeah hating a girl for being a "slut" is fucked up a woman is entitled to hate another woman for being racist or transphobic or even just a general butthole. solidarity is conditional and you can't go around crying internalized misogyny every time someone female doesn't want to be your friend.
